Privacy Policy

Wander555 is a date-night concierge service operating in New York City. This policy explains what we collect when you use our app and website, why we collect it, and what control you have. Questions go to hello@wander555.com.

• Account information — your email address, password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider), and the invite code you joined with.
• Preferences and quiz answers — budget, neighborhoods, cuisines, activity rankings, availability, and your date archetype results.
• Couple and partner links — who is paired with your account, and invites you send or receive.
• Plan history and feedback — the nights we curated, whether you accepted or skipped them, ratings, and any notes you send us.
• Payment status — membership state, date passes, and receipts from our payment processor. Card numbers are handled entirely by the processor; we never see or store them.
• Basic technical data — device and browser information and error logs, used to keep the app working.

• Curating your nights and making reservations in your name.
• Sending account, verification, and reservation email.
• Enforcing membership entitlements, quotas, and invite-only access.
• Improving our venue library and matching quality.
• Preventing abuse and meeting our legal obligations.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

• Venues — the name and party details needed to hold a reservation for you.
• Service providers — our hosting, database, email, and payment providers, who process data only on our instructions.
• Your partner — anyone paired to your couple account sees the shared plans, itineraries, and responses.
• Legal requests — when we are required by law, or to protect our members and our service.

We keep account and plan data while your account is active, and for a limited period afterwards to handle billing, disputes, and legal obligations. Delete your account and we remove your profile, preferences, and plan history; anonymised records of transactions may be retained where the law requires it.

• Access or correct your information in Settings, or by emailing us.
• Delete your account from Settings — this also unpairs your partner.
• Unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time. Account and reservation notices are required while you have an active membership.

We use only what the app needs to work: a session token that keeps you signed in and basic security cookies. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Wander555 is for adults. The service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

If we make a material change we'll update the date above and notify members by email before it takes effect.
